Rail Corridors

The Florida High Speed Rail Vision Plan anticipates the statewide system will be constructed in phases. The map below illustrates the potential statewide system.

Phase 1 of Florida's High Speed Rail program extends from Orlando International Airport to downtown Tampa.

The rail corridor for Phase 1 is in the median on Interstate 4, and the FDOT has made major investments to preserve this rail corridor.
